This folder, the “Comete”, from Charles is 7 3/16’ in OAL with a ATS34 blade that is 2 7/8” long. The 416 stainless steel interframe handle has tortoise shell inlays that are each decorated with ten inlays of 24K gold. The butt cap is also inlayed with tortoise shell with three 24K gold inlays. Both the handle and blade are highly polished. This has the butt cap lock mechanism that Charles developed, and is unbelievably rock solid. Charles makes a fixed blade in this design, and you can’t tell the difference by looking at them from the side. It’s hard to find his knives, and this is a fine example of a true craftsman and innovator. Comes with a Certificate of Origin complete with description and picture, and a special presentation case that has been scrimmed by Chantal
