Another great knife from Barry, this triple bolster lockback folder measures 7 1/4" open, 4" closed, and has a 3 1/8" blade length. Barry of course forged his own damascus for the blade and bolsters, and what a beautiful combination of patterns. All of the bolsters are carved in one of Barry's traditional styles, and sandwiched in between are some incredible pieces of premium, fiery black lip mother of pearl. All pins are solid gold, as is the carved bail. The stainless steel liners are fully fileworked, and the raised damascus backspacer is beautifully rope fileworked. The backspacer is fileworked inside as well, and there is a gold blade stop. Barry learned well from his main mentor, Jim Schmidt, and this knife is reminiscent of the fine work from Jim, both in style, fit and finish, and the flawless function of the blade and backspring.
