This triple bolster lockback folder from Barry is quite likely one of the best knives he has ever made, and he has made some real museum quality pieces. It measures 7 5/16" open, 4 1/8" closed, and has a 3 1/8" fighter style blade of Barry's own damascus. The triple bolsters, or double bolsters and waistband, are contrasting damascus, also by Barry. The four inlays are absolutely beautiful antique Tortoise, each held in place with four gold pins. The fileworked liners are solid 14K rose gold, the bolsters are bordered by 18K rose gold bars, and the bail is 18K rose gold. The raised stainless steel backspacer is fileworked inside and out, and the lockback release is 18K rose gold. The contoured damascus thumbstud is inlayed with a diamond set in gold. Absolutely rock solid with a flawless fit and finish, this piece will end up in a museum one day. Put it in your collection for awhile first!
