This SA latch release linerlock auto from Bill is 10 1/8” OAL with a 4 ½” blade. The blade and bolster steel is George Werth “Klingon Hieroglyphics” pattern damascus. The scales are presentation grade fossil walrus ivory from the bottom of a sleigh runner, predominately browns and creams. Front and rear bolsters are carved, with the carving scheme continuing through the scales. The liners are intricately fileworked and heat colored. The backspacer is carved, and has two tortoise shell over 14K gold inlays. The release latch is carved, and has a 14k gold over tortoise shell inlay. The spine is carved inside, with a fossil ivory blade stop and a 14K gold bar with “SAINDON” stamped on it. The screws are fileworked, and Bill’s signature “S” appears on top of the blade with some additional carving. A beautiful knife!
