This two blade combination front lock and slipjoint Sheffield from Gray showcases his amazing attention to detail. It measures 9 3/8" with the large blade open, 5" closed, the front lock long blade is 4 3/8" and the shorter slipjoint blade is 2" in length. Both blades and the lock are damascus. The exhibition grade white mother of pearl scales are intricately carved, full of color, and held in place with gold pins. The stainless steel liners are partially fileworked and the steel backspacers are blacked and gold inlayed. The stainless steel bolsters are engraved by the maker with raised gold flowers. A beautiful exhibition piece with unbelieveably long and delicately carved pearl scales, and a top notch fit and finish.
