One of the very first prototypes of Butches’ linerlock “Kickstart” spring assisted openers. The blade is 3 7/8” and the OAL is 8 ¼”. The blade is satin finished and the scales are blue and black micarta. The thumb disc and top of blade are fileworked, and the liners are lightly colored titanium. The Vallotton name appears on one side of the blade and the word “Prototype” on the opposite side. The knife is a true proto and shows some slight wear from handling, but it looks great and functions perfectly. A very collectable knife.
