This limited edition "New York Defender", introduced at the New York knife show this past weekend of 2/24/06, is already sold out. John worked with another individual in arranging to produce just ten of these, five for the commissioning party, and five for himself. John sold three in the lottery at his table, and is keeping two for his daughters. The other individual sold three, and is keeping the other two. This knife measures 7 1/2" in OAL and has a 3 1/2" blade length. The blade and stainless steel fittings are very highly polished, and a black leather lanyard is attached. The black rucarta handle slabs are set over red fiber liners on the nicely tapered tang. Complete with a special black leather sheath with a belt or boot clip, this knife is destined to be a treasured collectors item.
