A hard to get knife from John, but then they all are, this New York Special is a real treat. The Mammoth ivory handle slabs are incredible in color with tan, blue, green, and brown, with some bark showing. The knife measures 7 3/8" in OAL with a 3 3/8" blade. All steel is stainless and mirror polished to an incredible finish. A snap is built into the leather sheath and the knife handle to secure the piece in place. WOW!
